At Juscholars, we are dedicated to fostering legal research and encouraging thought-provoking discussions on contemporary legal issues. To maintain the quality and integrity of our platform, we have established a set of submission guidelines. These guidelines are designed to ensure a smooth submission process and provide clarity to contributors regarding our expectations. Find details about call for submissions here.
- Originality: All submissions must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized and AI content will be rejected outright.
- Relevance: Submissions should focus on contemporary legal issues or innovative perspectives on traditional legal topics.
- Check for Duplicacy: Please note that topics already published on juscholars.com will not be considered for publication. Therefore, kindly check juscholars.com before submitting.
- Language and Tone: The language should be clear, concise, and free of grammatical errors. Avoid using overly technical jargon unless necessary.
- Formatting: Submissions must be in .doc or .docx format. PDFs or handwritten submissions will not be accepted.
- Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing for the main text and single spacing for footnotes.
- Headings: Use clear and structured headings and subheadings to organize the content. Headings should be in bold.
- Abstract: Submissions longer than 2000 words must include a brief abstract (100–150 words) summarizing the article’s key points.
- Footnotes: Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, and must follow a uniform citation style.
- Content Accuracy: Authors are responsible for ensuring the factual accuracy of their submissions, including case laws, statutes, and references.
- Copyright Compliance: Authors should ensure their work does not infringe on any copyright or intellectual property rights. Proper attribution must be given for all quotes and references.
- Images and Graphics: Authors should note include images, charts, or graphics. However, tables can be added.
- Author Bio: Submissions must include a short author bio mentioning the author’s name, designation, institution/organization, and contact details.
- Editing Rights: Juscholars reserves the right to make minor edits to the article for clarity, grammar, and formatting without altering the substance of the content.
- Resubmission Policy: Articles rejected for publication may be resubmitted after substantial revision and improvement, but authors must explicitly highlight the changes made.
